The company's name was later changed to Rholl Electric. They returned to Webster City in 1974 and he bought Park Electric from his father. In 1972, they moved to Marshalltown where he worked at the Lennox Company.
The couple resided at Webster City where he continued in the electrical business.
On August 6, 1961, he married Sharon Lee Fryslie at Eagle Grove. He started in the electrical business with his father. He also attended Buena Vista University at Storm Lake. He received his education at Woolstock and Eagle Grove, graduating in 1960.
